Dec. 10: With President-elect Barack Obama calling for Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich to resign, some GOP leaders are trying to link Obama to the corruption scandal. Does Obama have something to worry about?

Media Matters reports that, despite U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald’s warning to “not cast aspersions on people for being named or being discussed” in the criminal complaint against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, numerous media outlets have jumped to tie President-elect Obama to the scandal.

An AP article called “Questionable associations of Obama” used the Blagojevich arrest to run down other “notable figures who have drawn scorn and scrutiny” who have crossed paths with Obama. Media Matters points out that Obama has not been implicated in any criminal wrongdoing in connection with any of these people, more than half of whom have not themselves been charged with anything.

A Politico article called “Big risks for Obama in Blago scandal” calls the case “a stink bomb tossed at close range.” They note that Obama comes out well from the criminal complaint, but quote numerous Republicans to suggest that the scandal will cause trouble for the President-elect.

On MSNBC Chuck Todd said, “Obviously, Chicago Democratic politics, Illinois Democratic politics has a lot of concentric circles. People who used to work for Blagojevich, maybe in his 2002 campaign, have connections now with Obama.” He added, “the guilt-by-association stuff, it’ll serve as a Republican talking point probably for four or eight years, depending on how long Obama is president.” Chris Matthews also used guilt-by-association against Obama, pointing out that he “rose to political power in a city, Chicago, in a state, Illinois, known for corruption.” He noted that there were “no allegations” against Obama, but added, “There are many unanswered questions.”

As Jason Linkins reported, Sean Hannity attempted to tie Obama to Blagojevich but failed — in fact he noted repeatedly that all the references to the President-elect in the criminal complaint were “exculpatory.” The only damning piece of information he could find was that Obama’s name came up in the complaint 44 times.

First there was Frank, Bill, Jeremiah, Bernadine, Alice  and than came Obama – the spitting image of Frank.  Oops, at least the ears are the same!   Frank was the guy that took little Obama by the hand and started the brain wash job during Barack’s  teenage years.   “In Dreams of My Father.” Obama tells the world that Frank was the strong influence and the man who helped Obama find his lost identity. 

Frank and friends had lived in Chicago for some 20 plus years and knew it was ripe for a young Obama to move in and start his “Chess game.”  Ripe, because Chicago was notorious for its violence and corruption – all Obama needed to do was light the flame and keep agitating the people until a bon fire erupted. 

Chicago was where Obama went from a toddler wrapped in liberalistic paraphernalia to a marathon runner equipped with tools of the extreme liberalist and radicals.  Frank, Ayers and Wright, along with a few women served as Obama’s mentors and prepared their student well – Obama jumped into community activities, analyzed the hot spots of the various communities and strategically started the fires. 

Obama didn’t exactly lead anyone or anything, but he mastered the art of using tax payer’s money to fund his radical channels.   If there’s one thing this man can do adeptly, its raising tons of money, note I didn’t say honest money – I just said money.

Stage left, in comes Mayor Harold Washington and his communist buddies who helped Obama makes his way to the Illinois Senate.  Washington was pretty much a “shoo in” when he ran for the office of mayor, because his campaign was backed by the Unions, many churches and special interest groups and getting Obama into the Illinois Senate was a pretty easy task for Washington and his Chicago gang. 

Remember, truth is not relevant literally non-existent during the radical’s feeding frenzy on the less fortunate.  Knowing how to control the masses is the secret – Obama knows that power comes from convincing those who “have not” that they can take power away from those who “have.”  

So Obama’s job during this Presidential Race is to fuel the fire, create discontent, anger and confusion in the “have nots.”   The “have nots” are much like a flock of geese and their only job is to follow the leader.   Obama keeps the “have nots” hungry, wanting more, dreaming of what may be and he constantly changes the game plan or tactics so the troops don’t experience boredom. 

 The Obama philosophy is “power in numbers,” never letting the right hand know what the left is doing and tearing down the opponent’s defense.   He loves to hit below the belt as we saw with Governor Sarah Palin and Biden was chosen over Hillary for one reason only.  Obama couldn’t control Hillary and frankly was afraid of her, but Biden was somewhat like the stray out on the streets who would sit up and bark or shake hands for a few pats and a pot full of earmarks. 

Now, Senator Obama with the help of Acorn, Project Vote and all his “pet” radical groups are showing Americans their uncanny control over our voting system.  The officials at the polls are overwhelmed, over worked and totally confused, which is exactly what Obama and friends have counted on with their devious tactics.  Obama plays stupid and Acorn just laughs all the way to the bank with their $ 800,000 dollars. 

So America if you want an honest man, a real leader and one who places country first and foremost on his agenda – vote for senator McCain.  If you want a deceitful, smooth talking attorney with lots of money who places radicals first, poor next and completely ignores the “middle class,” then Obama’s your man.

By the way, if you’re interested in Frank – just start surfing for Frank Marshall Davis: he was a great friend of Obama’s grandfather and a mentor to Barack Obama.

being, well, downright gold diggers, mean and rude to each other. My cousin who has power of attorney signed to him of which my uncle signed after being diagnosed with Corsica’s, a disease which affects your mind, very similar to Alzheimer’s, is not allowing any family members to see him since his sister went and basically kidnapped him from the nursing home and brought him to a hospital because she claimed that he was not being properly cared for in the nursing home he was in. I don’t know, the whole thing is a mess, basically, as sad and pathetic as it is, my cousin who has power of attorney is trying to hurry my uncles death along so he can cash in on the life insurance benefits. My uncles money was all signed to my cousin $400,000.00 is the number I am hearing. Anyhow, he bought himself a nice new tow truck and a house since having control of my uncles money and put him in the nursing home. Well, my Aunt and Uncle, the dying mans brother and sister, I guess one of them should really have power of attorney. But, is there anything legal that can be done? This is in Illinois by the way, is there a statute or something you could refer me to, or some kind of agency that handles these kinds of matters?
$400,000.00 is the amount my cousin has control over now, with power of attorney being signed to him. I would say he has well spent every penny of that amount. Now he is trying to kill his dad off, or hurry his death along shall we say. The nursing home he placed my uncle in is not allowing other family members to come visit at all, including my uncles daughter as per Jesse’s request, his son who has power of attorney.
My grandma who is 87 years old and JUST lost her husband is getting calls from every one is in a panic over the whole thing, what can be done to make this maddness come to an abrupt halt?
My grandma has already seen 2 of her 11 children die unfortunately, and now just lost her husband and now they all keep calling her about their fighting amongst each other and all she wants is to see her son get proper care and treatment and get better, which, I believe he could get better with proper care and no, he is not getting proper care.

Get yourself a Lawyer and fast. The Cousin really has no right to it since he is not first of Kin. I also live in Illinois and my Father just passed. I went through this. There are lots of things that could be done. When my Daddy died I didn’t give a chit about the money. I cared about how he was going to live out his days. I ended up being benefactor. I shared it equally amongst his children first and then brother and sisters. I hate when people take advantage of the sick and elderly. I could give you a whole list of people to contact.
